Martha O. Carmody is an artist living and working in southwestern Ohio. She is currently affiliated with the Cincinnati Art Club, the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati, SWO Plein Air Painters, Ohio Plein Air Society, Indiana Plein Air Society and the American Impressionist Society.

OPAS has given Martha a state-wide forum in which to paint the remarkable landscapes of Ohio and SWOPAP affords the opportunity to paint outside in the brilliant mid-western sun from April – November with other artists of the area. She is constantly inspired to bring to the canvas the light and intensity of contrast she finds around her.
